Grace morning on this sensational and sufficient Saturday.
You can think yourself depressed, you can think yourself into a bad mood, you can think yourself a victim. As long as you're thinking about your hurts, what you didn't get, how you were left out, you're going to be discouraged. Why not start thinking happy thoughts? Happy thoughts are, "I have a bright future. Something good is going to happen to me. My latter days will be better than my former days". Don't relive and replay the loss, and disappointment. You can't move forward if you're constantly looking back.
You can't enjoy today if you're focused on yesterday. You may have had great disappointments, things that are not fair - you should start thinking yourself happy.
You should get up every morning and say, "Today is going to be a great day, I may face discouragement, but I’m going to delight myself in the Lord". That’s getting your mind going in the right direction. It's easy to think yourself sad. Try thinking yourself happy in spite of your current circumstances.
“The person who knows that the God of Jacob will help him is a happy person! If he trusts in the Lord as his God, he is happy.”
Psalms 146:5 EEB
Live, love, and laugh your way through this satisfying Saturday!
