Grace morning on this seren and seismic Sunday.
We all go through seasons of struggle and seasons where we’re dealing with an illness, loss of a loved one, a relationship didn’t work out, we don’t understand, doesn’t seem fair. It’s easy to think that the suffering, the struggle, the weeping is the way it’s always going to be. God never promised that we wouldn’t have seasons of weeping, seasons of struggle. The promise God makes us is: the suffering is only a season, the weeping is not how your story ends. You’re going to laugh again. God sees what you’re going through, the relationship that abruptly ended, the addiction that attacked your family, the ill advised decision you made, may have snatched your smile and laughter. God knows what wasn’t fair, the lonely nights, the pain, the heartache. You may have felt alone, but he’s been right there with you. The good news is: he’s not going to leave you in suffering, life in shambles, he’s not going to leave you brokenhearted, weighed down with burdens.
“You’re blessed when you’ve lost it all. God’s kingdom is there for the finding. You’re blessed when you’re ravenously hungry. Then you’re ready for the Messianic meal. You’re blessed when the tears flow freely. Joy comes with the morning.”
Luke 6:21 MSG
Live, love, and laugh your way through this splendiferous Sunday!
