Grace morning on this super sensational Saturday.
God is looking for uncommon people, that don’t go with the majority, don’t lower their standards, that go against the grain, have uncommon faith, believe when it seems impossible. uncommon commitment; do the right thing when it’s hard. Have a uncommon attitude; when everyone around is negative, bitter, moody, you have a smile, you’re kind, goodnatured. God wants you to stand out. When people look at you, they should say, “there’s something different about him/her. They’re a cut above; excellent, trustworthy, committed, loyal, happy.” What they’re really saying is, “you’re uncommon. When you decide to not fit in, be like everyone else, but to be uncommon, then you will see uncommon favor, opportunities, breakthroughs, victories. You can’t live an extraordinary life if you aren’t even expecting it. Average faith says, “I hope I can make my monthly payments.” An uncommon faith says, “God, I believe I’ll pay the whole thing off!” If you’re not careful, you could adapt to the environment, and become like everybody else.
““Don’t look for shortcuts to God. The market is flooded with surefire, easygoing formulas for a successful life that can be practiced in your spare time. Don’t fall for that stuff, even though crowds of people do. The way to life—to God!—is vigorous and requires total attention.”
