Grace morning on this wonderful and winsome Wednesday.
How many times have you felt like just throwing in the towel ? You’ve had to deal with a lingering disorder. The Problem that wouldn’t go away. The anxiety, the trouble in your marriage, the addiction, the sicknes, the hurt, the pain, the lost of sleep. You’ve done your best. God knows, you prayed, you stood in faith, you said you weren’t going to give in to the temptation, but you weren’t strong enough. You weren’t complacent, complaining nor competing. You still showed up at work. You still came to church. You still volunteered. You were still good to others, all the while dealing with the lingering disorder. Maybe nobody can see it. It’s the hurt, the pain from the trauma of the past. God is full of mercy. He knows the weight of what you’re carrying. He knows the struggle, the sacrifice, how you’re doing your best to keep it all together. God see you carrying the load of others when you need to be carried.
“The next day, the man from Samaria took out two silver coins from his purse. He gave the money to the man that was taking care of the hotel. “Be kind to this man for me,” he said. “This money may not be enough. When I return, I will pay you for any more that you have spent on him.” ’”
