Grace morning on this triumphant and tranquil Thursday.
There will be times when you diligently dig down deep, and do the right thing when the odds are against you, something will suddenly break in your favor. That strong urge won’t have power over you. That bad attitude, that temper may not totally go away, but it doesn’t control you anymore. There is no telling how much higher you could go, how many doors will open for you. God’s favor can be experience if you’d start putting off the old man, if you start saying no to things that you know are holding you back. Some time a little thing is keeping us from big blessings: little pride, little compromise, “Just this one little temptation I give into, just this one person that I won’t forgive”. No, it’s time
to get rid of the old man. Nobody likes him, nobody wants to be around him. Put the old man down and put on the new you, the free you, the blessed you, the happy you, the victorious you.
“After Job had interceded for his friends, God restored his fortune—and then doubled it! “
Job 42:10 MSG
Live, love, and laugh your way through this thankful Thursday!
