Grace morning on this serene and satisfying Sunday.
Life has its ups and downs. We’ve all been there. Rock bottom. The end of our rope. The last straw. During hard times, it often seems like the only option is to throw in the towel. There’s a benefit to overcoming adversity. When you make your way through tough times, you’ll become stronger and more successful in life. That’s why the phrase “what doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger” really does ring true.
The wisest and most well-rounded people you meet are usually those who have gone through tough times themselves. They have overcome challenges and they have great stories to tell. They have experience ups and downs, and have gain a better appreciation and understanding of life. When you realize that life is hard, you’ll fill your life with more compassion, understanding, and wisdom.
Hard times will help you become stronger because you know life is tough but God has made you tougher. Keep a positive outlook on life because in some cases, it can’t get any worse.
“Elisha said to her, ‘How can I help you? Tell me, what things do you have in your house?’ She said to Elisha, ‘Please sir, I have nothing in the house. All I have is a small jar of olive oil.’”
2 Kings 4:2 EEB
Live, love, and laugh your way through this seismic and splendiferous Sunday!
