Grace morning on this fantastic and fruitful Friday.
God has unlimited supplies. According to the prophet Elisa in 2 Kings 4:3, the prophet told the widow to borrow empty jars. He said, “borrow not a few.” The widow determined how much oil she would have by how many containers she borrowed; it wasn’t up to God how much she increased; God has an unlimited supply. God filled every jar that she borrowed. How many containers are you borrowing? What kind of vision do you have for your life? Some people have a barely-get-by container; they think, “business is so slow, I’m hoping just to make it through this year,” they’ve got a small container. God says, “Alright, I’ll fill your barely-get-by container”; God can do exceedingly abundantly above and beyond; He is El Shaddai, the God of more than enough; make room for the favor, position yourself under the open windows of heaven. God can fill your containers as you trust him. Your drought season is in delay mode, not deny mode.
“Now God has us where he wants us, with all the time in this world and the next to shower grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus.”
