Grace morning on this serene and splendid Sunday.
When you mapped out your travel trip, you want to know where it will start, where it end, where you will stop along the way, and exactly how long it will take. Many of us approach our lives in the same way—we try to plan out all the details in advance; we want to know all the answers before we begin the journey. However, God does not reveal His vision for our lives all at once. God reveals His vision when He knows we are ready and able to receive it. The pictures you keep in front of you, in your imagination, that’s what you’re moving toward. Your inner vision is setting the limits for your life. You may struggle with low self-esteem, sometimes you feel inferior, like you don’t measure up, you have to change that picture. God calls you a masterpiece, one of a kind. If you’ll change your pictures, you’ll change your life. If you’ll have the right inner vision, see yourself strong and favored.
“I, the Lord, tell you this: I have decided what I will do for you. I have plans to help you to do well. I do not want to hurt you. I want to give you hope for a good life in the future.”
Jeremiah 29:11 EEB
