Grace morning on this tranquil and thankful Thursday.
Sometimes, when you make a big, life-altering decision or leap of faith, you encounter detours. You face problems and interruptions that can make you question whether or not you heard God in the first place. You reach a crossroads in your faith journey where you can either continue trusting God or turn away from him. When trouble strikes and your heart grow faint, you can be tempted to forget God’s love. When this happens, you begin to be consumed by your stress and your fears. When you follow God's formula and recall his great love, you, remind yourself daily of his compassion. Your heart then gain strength. Purpose exists, even for the storms and struggles of life. You may not always see the purpose, but the purpose exists. You don't need to doubt the love and the goodness of God toward you. He doesn't promise a storm-free life, but he does promise to be the anchor in the storm so that you will not be overcome!
“We have these little troubles that continue for a short time. But as a result, we will receive the great things that God has prepared for us. Those great things are much more important than our little troubles. And God's great things will continue for ever!”
2 Corinthians 4:17 EEB
Live, love, and laugh your way through this terrific Thursday!
