Grace morning on this thankful and tranquil Tuesday.
God puts things in our spirit on purpose that are too big for us. He allows us in situations where we can’t get out on our own. It’s a test: are we going to get discouraged, miss our purpose? Or are we going to let what God says override the doubt, and believe that it’s still going to happen? “Despite the opposition, I’m still going to reach my destiny. Despite how things look, I’m still going to come out alright. Despite the delays, the setbacks, what people are saying, what the bank account looks like, how you were raised, you’re still going to live a blessed, fulfilled, victorious life. Despite the breakup, despite who walked away, the hurts, the loneliness, that’s not how your story ends. That’s one chapter, but you have a whole book. You’re still going to be someone who bounced back from a fall or failed relationship, you’re still going to laugh again, love again, dream again. Just keep believing “It’s still going to happen.”
“Then the widow went home. She did what Elijah had told her to do. After that, there was enough food every day for Elijah and for the widow and her family. The flour in the bowl and the olive oil in the jar never finished. The Lord had promised Elijah that this would happen.”
1 Kings 17:15-16 EEB
Live, love, and laugh your way through this terrific Tuesday!
