Grace morning on this splendiferous and sufficient Saturday.
No one escapes the storms in this passing world and bad things can happen to good people. So, when trouble happens, you choose the option to make more time for worry or make more time for prayer. Times of change and uncertainty can bring fear when the days are dark and you feel helpless. You may know by faith that Christ is with you in your troubles, but it is hard to stop the doubts from flooding your mind. We are reminded in the word of God that we need to look beyond what is happening around us and focus on the truth of God’s word. We are not promised tomorrow, but God has said that whatever we go through, He will be with us to the end. In order to keep going in times of darkness, it will take faith that has been tested in the fire. Anyone can trust God in the good times, but Christ is looking for believers that are able to handle unexpected storms.
“The Father is with me. I’ve told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I’ve conquered the world.””
John 16:33 MSG
