Grace morning on this superb and satisfying Saturday.
Times are tough and the days are growing short. It is difficult to stand in faith as the darkness fills the world. Sometimes the pain we experience is just too much for us to bear. Without a doubt, we are living in ending days as this world deals with a pandemic COVID-19 virus that has wreaked havoc on all nations. Crisis situations have a way of bringing out the good and the bad in people. Some people are turning to God and others still turn to their own ways. Facing uncertain times can fill you with fear. You may have lost all that you had in this world but the good news is that you can never lose the benefits of God’s mercy and provision for all that you need. Trials are a way to learn patience and to grow in your faith. Every battle in your life has the power to do a greater work in you and to reveal more of God’s grace and strength.
“When life is heavy and hard to take, go off by yourself. Enter the silence. Bow in prayer. Don’t ask questions: Wait for hope to appear. Don’t run from trouble. Take it full-face. The “worst” is never the worst.”
Lamentations 3:28-30 MSG
