Thursday 07/28/20Grace morning on this thankful Thursday. If your mind have shifted into thinking can’t-do-it thoughts and I’m-not-enough, the situation is so overwhelming, you’re drowning in defeat. The wrong shift is making you weaker, your gifts are being pushed down, your faith is being diminished. Why not try shifting your thoughts into the positive and productive promises of God. God’s favor will guard your mind, if you’ll be selective in what you’re dwelling on, if you’ll keep it stayed on him? Psalm 1:2 put it this way, “But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.” Meditate means to think about over and over. Really worry is meditating, it’s letting the negative play again and again. Some people have this principle down, they have become professional worriers. The problem is: letting the negative continually play over and over. Why don’t you switch what you’re meditating on? It doesn’t take any more energy to believe than it does to worry. Live, love, and laugh your way through this terrific and tranquil Thursday!
