Grace morning on this festive Friday.
There will come a time when the hurt will stop, and you’re being promoted, you’re being honored. The truth will come out. God is in control of your reputation. As long as you’re honoring him, at the right time vindication is coming. You will come out of it not with less respect, but with more respect than they had not tried to hold you down. What was meant for your harm God will turn to your advantage. You can have the best intentions, the purest motives, but there will always be people that try to mischaracterize you.
They may not be bad people, sometimes they’re just jealous. They don’t want to see you succeed. You don’t have to guard your reputation, but you do have to guard your heart.
They don’t want to let someone new in. God is going to take care of your reputation, the question is: are you going to take care of your heart? It’s easy to get offended, bitter, live upset.
“Whoever wants to embrace life and see the day fill up with good, Here’s what you do: Say nothing evil or hurtful; Snub evil and cultivate good; run after peace for all you’re worth. God looks on all this with approval, listening and responding well to what he’s asked; But he turns his back on those who do evil things.”
