Grace morning on this triumphant and thankful Thursday.
There will be times when people at work, get on your nerves. You’ve been praying for God to move them.
Have you ever thought about, maybe God has you there on purpose? Maybe that's a test? If he removed everything uncomfortable, you would never grow. Instead of being sour, why don't you try a different approach, and keep a good attitude? They know just what buttons to push, that's why you say things that you shouldn't. Under pressure you're seeing what's in you. Next time that happens, respond a different way. Proverbs 21:23 says, "If you'll keep your mouth closed, you'll stay out of trouble". One way to pass the test is real simple: keep your mouth closed. Don’t allow your emotions to control your mouth and attitude. Next time you feel like saying something hurtful, disrespectful, telling someone off, take a real deep breath, pause for about ten seconds, under your breath and say, "God, help me control my tongue, help me to pass this test".
“And I command you today: Love God, your God. Walk in his ways. Keep his commandments, regulations, and rules so that you will live, really live, live exuberantly, blessed by God, your God, in the land you are about to enter and possess.”
Deuteronomy 30:16 MSG
Live, love, and laugh your way through this tremendous Thursday!
