Grace morning on this winsome and wonderful Wednesday.
Don't live with the weak-worm-worthless of-the-dust mentality, thinking, "I don't deserve God's goodness. Going over and over in your mind, “I brought this trouble on myself".
Paul said, "Where sin abounds, grace does much more abound". You didn't supersede your allotment of grace. You didn't make a mistake so big that God ran out of mercy. Instead of living condemned, go boldly to the throne, to receive mercy. God is waiting to gladly welcome you. Here's the key: He won't force you to come. You may feel the guilt, the condemnation, but God sees your failures already covered. When you take one step toward God, he comes running towards you. Only place in the Bible where it pictures God running was to the prodigal son, who had gotten off course. God could have come running to heal the lepers, run into teaching the temple, running to the religious leaders, instead he came running to someone that had made mistakes.
“So he went off to return to his father. But he was still a long way from the house when his father saw him. He felt very sorry for his son and he ran towards him. Then he put his arms round his son and he kissed him.”
Luke 15:20 EEB
Live, love, and laugh your way through this worry-less Wednesday!
