Grace morning on this sensational and satisfying Saturday.
A mark of maturity is when you can be happy even when things aren't going your way. That your joy is not based on your circumstances. The enemy wants you thinking and focus on, “when the pandemic is over I'll get my joy back. When I finish paying your bills off, I’ll be happy. When the weather change, I’ll be in a good mood. If you're putting off your happiness, there will always be some reason to not be happy. God wants you to have a life of abundance. But in God's economy, it never has to do with acquiring worldly possessions that will one day vanish. Why don't you make a decision that you're going to be happy today? Not when it clears up, not when your supervisor or manager changes, not when you get a new neighbor - this is the day the Lord has made. If you can’t rejoice where you are, you probably won't be happy, when you get to where you want to be.
“Along about midnight, Paul and Silas were at prayer and singing a robust hymn to God. The other prisoners couldn’t believe their ears. Then, without warning, a huge earthquake! The jailhouse tottered, every door flew open, all the prisoners were loose.”
Acts 16:25-26 MSG
