Grace morning on this sensational and satisfying Saturday.
There will always be something trying to convince you to pull up your anchor: delays, disappointments, bad breaks. In tough times, when life doesn’t seem fair, your prayers weren’t answered, it’s taking longer than you thought, you have to make sure to keep your anchor down; if you pull it up, you’ll drift into bitterness, discouragement and self-pity.
When problems look impossible, every voice tells you, “it’s not going to work out, forget it, you’re wasting your time.” Most people would throw in the towel, but because your attitude is anchored, you can say with complete confidence,“I may not see a way, but I know God has a way, He able to open doors no man can shut.” When you’re anchored to hope, God will make things happen that you could never make happen. When you’re anchored to hope, something in you says, “God can accelerate my deliverance and bring me out of this major problem. God has explosive and enormous blessings coming my way.”
“I prayed, ‘Lord, king of all people, you have made the earth and the sky by your great power. Your hands have made them. Nothing is too difficult for you to do.”
Jeremiah 32:17 EEB
Live, love, and laugh your way through this sufficient Saturday!
